Can you strategise for a biopharma company?

Daraga Inc. is a fictional biopharmaceutical company, looking for advice on the acquisition of a range of biotechnology SMEs. Can your consultancy team help? You will have three weeks to analyse a the case studies, with the help of an experienced mentor, and will then present your proposed strategy to a board of business and healthcare experts.

The best team will win £1000! And for all who take part, it is the perfect opportunity to boost your CV and make an impression when applying for your first job in consulting or any industry related role, particularly within biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.

We welcome applications from students, and postdoctoral researchers in Life/Medical Sciences, Business and STEM disciplines. Don’t worry - you don’t have to be an expert in pharmaceutical sciences to excel in the competition. Teams must be formed of 3 - 5 people, and preference will be given to teams applying with at least one PhD student. Individual applications are also welcome, if you'd like us to find a team for you!

Applications should include a CV for each individual, and a cover letter (on behalf of your consultancy team - feel free to be creative with a name etc!) These should be sent to nbi.applications@gmail.com by Friday10th May.
