Charlène completed a bioengineering degree specialized in Pharmacology and Biotechnologies at Polytech Nice Sophia-University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (France-2016). During that period, Charlène had various professional experiences from the bench to marketing. Indeed, she had the opportunity to study the impact of a metabolic modulation on endothelial cells mechanosensitivity to fluid shear stress at Yale cardiovascular research center (USA), and work as an assistant product manager in a big pharmaceutical company where she actively participated to the launch of a hospital product (France).  Then, Charlène joined the University of Manchester for her Ph.D. Her project focuses on the central role for strain direction in cardiac fibrosis. In her free time, Charlène likes traveling mostly in Europe and swimming.
