Laraib is currently in the 4th year of her Masters of Pharmacy degree at the University of Manchester. Her final year project focuses on the development of synthetic cannabinoids as medicines.  This includes examining the CB2 Cannabinoid receptor as a therapeutic target and its role in tolerance and withdrawal. Laraib is an ambassador for the Global health society where she acts as an advocate for the developing global community. Her interests include social justice, the future of healthcare enterprise, and management consultancy. She is an avid traveller and partakes in competitive sports in her free time.
