Northern Biotech Consulting Case Competition

We are now welcoming applicants to NBI's Northern Biotech Consulting Case Competition. The nature of this competition hopes to bring together students and professionals from a range of multidisciplinary backgrounds to focus on consulting and biotechnology.

Acting as consulting firms, teams will present a recommendation to our expert judges on which start-up a large biotech company should acquire to increase its portfolio. Teams will be presented with profiles of several companies containing information regarding intellectual property, product portfolio and clinical trial data. The teams are then asked to make a recommendation regarding a deal between the client and the potential case companies. The winning team will be awarded a £1000 cash prize sponsored by Adelphi.

We are asking teams of 3 to 5 graduate students* to first register their interest here, then apply to the competition by the extended deadline of May 27th 2016.

Graduate students currently enrolled at northern UK institutions across Greater Manchester and beyond (Durham, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle, Nottingham, Sheffield, York and others) are highly encouraged to apply.

*Please note that this was previously specified as 4 or 5 members before 17 May 2016! The new team size criteria is a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 members.
