Consulting Case Competition 2025

Our flagship event, the Consulting Case Competition, officially opened the year for NWBI in 2025 and it did not disappoint. 

Each year, this competition brings together ambitious and sharp students with a passion for consulting. Over several weeks, teams design their own biotech consulting firms from the ground up, developing a strategy, value proposition and case solution before pitching to a panel of industry professionals. 

This year, we were proud to welcome judges and collaborators from Remap, Adelphi Real World, Access Infinity, Epsilogen and Sygnature Discoveries, who brought invaluable insight, tough questions and real-world perspectives to the competition. Finalist teams presented their firms in front of the panel, demonstrating not only scientific understanding but also commercial awareness, teamwork, and creativity. 

The competition concluded with an evening seminar and networking session, where students from across the University had the opportunity to meet the finalists and speak directly with industry professionals. Conversations ranged from career paths and consulting tips to biotech trends and personal experiences in the sector, making the event just as valuable outside the judging room as it was inside it.
